Solipskier Walkthrough

Solipskier is a unique skiing game appropriate for players of all ages. This kids game features simple controls, a rocking soundtrack, and high-paced, addictive gameplay.

The objective of Solipskier is to score as many points as possible. Points are scored by performing tricks, slaloming through gates, and skiing as quickly as possible! You are only given one life per run in this skiing game, but you can try again as many times as you want. Believe me, you will be trying again and again because this game is highly addictive!

The thing makes Solipskier so unique is its controls. Instead of maneuvering the skier by using the mouse or the keyboard, you are in control of drawing the slope! Click and drag your mouse to "paint" snow. The skier will automatically climb slopes and ski downhill. This simple, mouse-only control scheme makes this skiing game easy to understand, especially for casual gamers and young children.

If you are new to Solipskier, your first milestone should be mere survival. Draw your course so that the skier does not fall off of the screen or run into obstacles. Once you have gotten the hang of this, you can work on other goals such as causing the skier to increase their speed (which provides more points), guiding the skier through tunnels, and performing tricks. Pay close attention to numbers and arrows on the right side of the screen. These indicate the direction and distance to gates, tunnels, and obstacles. If you see a red arrow or object with a red 'X' superimposed over it, then be prepared to take quick action to avoid running into an obstacle!

Solipskier is a game that will hook players of any age. Parents can also be comfortable letting their children play this kids game since unlike many games on the Web, Solipskier is non-violent while still retaining a high fun factor!
